General description

Easy to use, these low-temperature aluminum welding rods are designed for young welders and require only a small heating device. They provide a strong weld that is generally higher than the strength of the base metal itself. The welding process does not require solder powder, as the welding core and coating serve as the basis for the weld. These rods are convenient and easy to work with, offering high performance due to their internal powder, which ensures a sufficient and uniform welding effect. They feature a low melting point, high weldability, corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and excellent processing properties. These rods can repair aluminum alloys, including severely corroded or oil-contaminated white metals.

Installation

Step 1: Polish the surface by physical cleaning.

Step 2: Heat the surface of the base metal to a working temperature of 450 °C or above.

Step 3: When repairing thin aluminum, heat it to the suitable working temperature, then rub the wire back and forth with a wire brush to form a weld.

Caution: Ensure the surface is clean and maintain the base metal temperature at 450 °C during welding.

Avoid using flames to burn the wire; the wire will flow naturally based on the thermal conductivity of the base material.

Usage

This low-temperature aluminum welding wire can weld almost all white metals, including aluminum, aluminum alloy, cast aluminum, and aluminum-magnesium alloy. It is suitable for various applications due to its high strength, good forgeability, and corrosion resistance.
