Description

  • 1.Main Technical Parameters: Measuring Range and Minimum Scale: Brix: 0-40% Minimum Scale: 0.2% Alcohol: 0-25% With temperature compensation, it can overcome data deviations caused by temperature changes and make the data more accurate. The eyepiece has been improved; the objective glass is heavy crown optical glass, not ordinary glass, which has greater clarity and reduces observer fatigue. 2. How to use: 1) Align the refracting prism with the direction of the light and adjust the diopter angle ring until the marking line is clear; 2) Adjust the benchmark: Before measuring, prepare the standard solution (pure water), the instrument, and the liquid to be tested at the same temperature.Open the lid, then place 1 to 2 drops of standard droplets onto the refractive prism and gently press the lid with your hand to create a line between light and dark.Turn the calibration screw to align the light-dark line in the eyepiece's field of view with the reference line (0%); Note: This optical instrument has been factory-calibrated and is ready for immediate use. 3) Open the cover, clean the prism surface with a soft cloth, apply 1 to 2 drops of the solution to be tested to the refractive prism, replace the cover, and press down gently. Read the relative values of the light-dark line, i.e., the measured solution's concentration and density. 4) After measurement, wipe the prism surface and cover plate with a damp cloth and store properly after drying. Correction The instrument must be zero-calibrated before measuring.Take a few drops of distilled water, place them on the detection prism, and turn the zero adjustment screw to set the dividing line to the 0% scale position. Then clean the inspection prism and proceed with the inspection. Some instrument models require a standard solution instead of distilled water for calibration. Precautions This instrument is a precision optical instrument; the following points must be considered during use and maintenance: 1.You must be careful when using it, strictly according to the instructions, and do not arbitrarily loosen the instrument's connecting parts. Avoid dropping, collisions, and strictly prohibit violent vibrations. 2.After use, it is strictly forbidden to put it directly into water for cleaning. It must be wiped with a soft, clean cloth. The optical surface must not be bumped or scratched. 3.The instrument must be stored in a dry, non-corrosive place.
