Installation

Prior to fitting, grease the threads on the nuts and bolts.

Ensure spacing between grips is at least 6 times the diameter of the rope.

Orient the grip correctly, with the 'U' bolt on the unloaded end of the rope.

Tighten each nut evenly and in turn to achieve the recommended torque settings.

Leave unused for 24 hours and check torque setting again, re-tighten if necessary.

After the first application of load, re-check torque setting and re-tighten if necessary.

Periodically check the torque setting during service.

Usage

The primary use of wire rope grips is to create loops in wire rope, providing secure connections for various applications.
