Zinsser B-I-N® Aqua is a high-performance, white-pigmented, low-odour, water-based synthetic shellac-based knot block primer and sealer. It combines fast drying times with exceptional adhesion and coverage, making it ideal for a variety of surfaces and applications.

  • Exterior spot priming of knots, resin, and rust stains.
  • Interior spot priming of water stains and puttied surfaces.
  • Sealing porous surfaces for a smooth finish with excellent hiding properties.
  • Blocking stains from water, nicotine, grease, oil, soot, rust, mildew, tannin, crayon, and lipstick.
  • Outstanding odour barrier for smoke, fire damage, mildew, and pet urine.
  • Surface preparation

    Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound, and free of dust, dirt, excessive chalky material, grime, grease, oil, wax, mildew, wallpaper, adhesive, or any contamination that may interfere with adhesion. If unsure, wash the surface with an appropriate cleaning solution or solvent and rinse thoroughly.
