For environmentally conscious buyers, you can protect the environment by choosing a water-based varnish, which is diluted and cleanable with water: this product has the advantage of being odorless. A tinted varnish will provide both protection and a design element to your wood. Regarding the appearance of the varnish, the choice mainly depends on your tastes and the aesthetics you want to bring to the surface to be varnished: satin, matte, or gloss finish.
