The gutter is an essential element for your house as it channels rainwater from the roof and thus protects the facade from water infiltration and other humidity-related damages.
The gutter consists of horizontal profiles and the vertical downspout. To assemble these different elements, you need to use gutter connections. These play a crucial role: they ensure the tightness of the gutter. Therefore, your connections must necessarily be made of the same material as your horizontal profiles and your vertical downspout. Ideally, all elements should be from the same brand and, if possible, from the same range to ensure optimal impermeability.

The junction (profile/profile connection) allows the profiles to be assembled, which should not be too long to avoid gutter sagging.
The birth, which can be central or fixed at the ends, serves to connect the profile with the gutter downspout.
The end cap (or birth end) is fixed to the ends of the profile to close the gutter.
The elbow, in turn, allows the downspout to be adjusted to the wall by bypassing the fascia board.
Remember to add a rainwater collector to the downspout, which you will connect to a tank. You will then be able to recycle rainwater to water your garden, wash your car... and make great savings.
