Installation

Professional installation is highly recommended.

Replace oil supply lines and fittings to prevent oil flow restrictions.

Do not use silicone or thread tape during installation.

Ensure all openings to the turbo are clear and not blocked.

Shut off fuel or disable ignition and crank the engine for at least 15 seconds to raise oil pressure.

Allow the engine to fast idle (1,000 RPM) for 3-5 minutes to seat turbo seals.

Always let the engine idle for 3-5 minutes before shutdown to prevent turbo damage.

When changing oil, ensure to prime the oil filter.

Usage

This turbo core is intended for repairing or rebuilding existing turbo systems.

Monitor for signs of turbo failure such as black or blue exhaust smoke, excessive oil consumption, or unusual noises.

Other information

Common causes of turbocharger failure include improper lubrication, foreign object damage, and excessive oil pressure.
