Description

General description

This adjustable paving pedestal by Jouplast is designed for creating terraces with outdoor tiles, ceramics, or wooden decks. It has an adjustable height ranging from 20 to 30 mm and is positioned beneath the slabs at each corner. This pedestal is ideal for terrace renovations, requiring no heavy excavation work and allowing for quick and easy installation without fasteners or joints.

Installation

The pedestal can be manually adjusted without additional tools.

Define the area for the future terrace.

If installing on raw ground: excavate the soil for about 15 cm, lay down a geotextile, create a draining foundation layer, finish with a fine layer, and compact using a vibrating plate.

If installing on a concrete slab, check the available heights at the thresholds and allow for a minimum of 3 cm.

Arrange the pedestals directly on the ground without fastening, following the layout plan.

Place the covering tiles.

Adjust the height of the pedestals manually by turning the nut.

Usage

For pedestrian use only.

For outdoor use only.

Use tiles with a minimum thickness of 2 cm.

Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for tile installation and calculate the number of pedestals per square meter based on usage.

Installation on pedestals is only suitable for a stabilized surface or an existing concrete slab.

Not compatible with the "Essentiel" tile plate or 10, 25, and 60 mm extensions.

Very easy to implement with an easy adjustment. Good quality plot. don't forget to order the acoustic rubbers to lay the tiles and walk in silence.
