Customer reviews
It weighs just over 13kg, so you need muscles to carry this and to put it up, as once you start to get it up to about 3m it can over balance if you are not careful. Also, you are lifting the entire weight of the steps above the one you are extending, so by the time you get to 5m, you are trying to lift over 10kg of 4.5m ladder. Be careful. Instructions are not written clearly so use common sense. For example, it does not say how to reduce it back to its fully closed height. I found out that it only drops the step half the distance back to the one below. When you close that one, it drops the one above as well with a thud and a clang! Watch out for your fingers or they will get pinched! It hurts when 4kg+ of falling ladder catches your skin! As for the ladder, it seems substantial and feels more stable than a traditional ladder for me as it has more heft. The lower steps are a little far apart if you are not 6ft.
