Water pressure test gauges
no products foundThe manometer is useful for real-time monitoring of the pressure of a fluid in either liquid or gas state within a well-defined circuit. Calibrated in bar, PSI, or Pascal, it can be analog or digital.
There are a few details to know about the manometer used to control water pressure in a household's supply circuit:
- it allows for the control of water pressure at the meter's outlet, which should be at 3 bars;
- if a booster pump is used, it is installed after this device;
- its installation can be carried out by tapping into a pipe;
- it is possible to install it directly on a pressure regulator or a pressure reducer.
This device can be coupled with others to control water pressure in a dwelling:
- a booster pump if the water pressure is insufficient;
- a reducer if the pressure is too high;
- an adjustable pressure reducing valve also allows for the reduction of pressure in the piping;
- a pressure switch to divert the excess pressure to a third circuit.
Other manometers are available for various uses:
- the guns for controlling tire pressure;
- the devices for controlling pressure in a fuel oil tank;
- the devices for measuring pressure in an acetylene cylinder;
- the models dedicated to measuring pressure and vacuum in air conditioning systems are specially calibrated in Pascal (Pa);
- the devices specially designed for measuring pressure in an oxygen cylinder.
Thus, the choice of a manometer depends primarily on its use. In any case, its use satisfies a need for precise information about the water, air, or gas pressure in a circuit.
