Installation

Professional installation is highly recommended.

Replace oil supply lines and fittings to prevent oil flow restrictions.

Avoid using silicone or thread tape during installation.

Ensure all openings to the turbo are clear and not plugged or capped off.

Shut off fuel or disable ignition and crank the engine for at least 15 seconds to raise oil pressure.

Allow the engine to fast idle (1,000 RPM) for 3-5 minutes to seat the turbo seals.

Always let the engine idle for 3-5 minutes before shutting down to ensure proper lubrication.

When changing oil, be sure to prime the oil filter.

Usage

Common signs of turbo failure include black or blue exhaust smoke, excessive engine oil consumption, turbo noise, cyclic sounds from the turbo, and oil leaks from the compressor or turbine seals. Regular maintenance and proper lubrication are essential to prevent turbocharger failure.
