Installation

To train the TPMS sensors, follow these steps:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, then press and release the brake pedal.
2. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the ON position three times, ending in the ON position.
3. Press and release the brake pedal.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
5. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position three times, ending in the RUN position.
6. Place the activation tool on the left sidewall of the tire at the valve stem and press the test button until the buzzer sounds.
7. Within two minutes of the buzzer confirming programming, place the tool on the right sidewall of the tire and press the test button.
8. Repeat for the rear tires in the appropriate order.

Usage

The TPMS sensor should be used in an area free from radio interference, at least 3 feet away from other vehicles equipped with TPMS sensors. If the sensors are not trained, the TPMS warning light will illuminate on the instrument panel. Note that the sensors go into sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity and must be reactivated by moving or rolling the tires.
