General description

Aquaseal Waterproof Tanking Membrane is a ready-to-use liquid waterproofing compound designed for application in a two-coat system using a brush. It creates a permanently flexible watertight membrane suitable for floors and walls in areas exposed to water, such as shower areas, wet rooms, balconies, and partially covered external spaces. This non-hazardous and solvent-free product is quick-drying, allowing tiling to commence after 12 hours.

Compatibility and accessories

Compatible with common building substrates including plasterboard, MDF, plywood, cementitious boards, blockwork, concrete, and specialty wet room boards.

Installation

Apply in a two-coat system, ensuring the first coat is dry before applying the second.

Do not apply below 10°C or when rain is imminent (within 6 hours).

Ensure surfaces are clean and free from contaminants before application.

Usage

Ideal for use in showers, wet rooms, and wet zones in bathrooms.

Serves as a tanking membrane as part of the Aquaseal Wet Room System.

Can be used as a primer on most common building surfaces.

Suitable for balconies and partially covered external areas.

Other information

Damp or humid conditions will significantly extend drying time.

It is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability for use.
