Product information

Description

Features:

1. Frequency is adjustable, allowing ignition performance to be adapted to different operating conditions.

2. The bypass detection table has been improved; the bypass opening is now further from the adjustment knob, making operation safer.

3. Three indicator lights show whether a signal is present. If one is not lit, the problem is with the drive or the spark plug, making diagnosis more precise.

4. Spark plug quality can be assessed: a straight spark is good, intermittent problems occur.

5. Spark plug aging can be assessed: optimal sparks are light purple, dark red indicates poor aging.

6. Spark plugs of different brands and specifications can produce a strong arc and a loud noise with the same signal, and vice versa.

7. Standard ballast for a more stable arc and longer life.

8. With European standard adapter

Principle of testing automotive spark plugs:

In the vehicle's ignition system, the high-voltage ignition coil generates a high voltage (over 10,000 volts). The spark plug transfers this voltage from the high-voltage ignition coil to the engine cylinder. The spark generated by the spark plug electrodes ignites the air-fuel mixture. Good spark plugs can be distinguished from defective ones by their intensity.

Precautions for using the automotive spark plug tester:

1. Turn off the power before moving the spark plug.

2. The spark plug tester is a high-voltage detector. To avoid danger, do not touch the spark plug with your hands during operation.

The higher the frequency, the greater the intensity of the spark.

User's manual for the automatic spark plug tester:

1. Insert the spark plug into test hole 1 or 2. If you want to compare the new spark plug with the old one, insert the new spark plug into hole 1 and the old spark plug into hole 2. 2. Connect the power supply. 3. Turn the ignition switch 4 clockwise to turn on the tester. When indicator light 3 comes on, the tester is operating at 1000 rpm. 4. Turn the ignition switch 4 clockwise again to adjust the speed between 1000 rpm and 5000 rpm.
