Description

General description

Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based paint designed for various surfaces including wood, plastic, concrete, weathered galvanised steel, brick, and cladding. Available in a Semi-Gloss finish, it offers excellent colour retention and flexibility, reducing the likelihood of flaking or cracking. This paint is ideal for protecting exterior buildings such as barns, stables, sheds, and fencing, and can be applied to previously painted surfaces, including those coated with weathered bitumen, tar, or varnish.

Installation

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.

Apply a knot block primer to knots before using Bedec Barn Paint to minimize bleed-through.

Can be applied by brush, roller, or spray.

Usage

Suitable for exterior buildings including barns, stables, outbuildings, and fencing.

Resistant to cracking, blistering, and flaking.

Protects against weather, rot, and algal damage.

Not recommended for substrates treated with water-repellent preservatives.
