General description

Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based paint designed for use on a variety of surfaces including wood, plastic, concrete, weathered galvanized steel, brick, and cladding. Available in a Semi-Gloss finish, it offers exceptional color retention and flexibility, reducing the likelihood of flaking or cracking. This product is ideal for protecting exterior buildings such as barns, stables, sheds, and other structures.

Installation

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.

For untreated weathered wood, new wood, cement render, plaster, or porous substrates, dilute the first coat with up to 30% clean water.

Apply an exterior knot block primer to knots before painting to minimize bleed-through.

Light sanding is recommended for tanalised timber prior to painting.

Usage

Suitable for exterior applications on barns, stables, outbuildings, fencing, gates, farm equipment, and more.

Can be applied to previously painted surfaces, including those with weathered bitumen, tar, or varnish.

Resistant to cracking, blistering, and flaking, providing protection against weather, rot, and algal damage.
