Product information

Description

[Cable Locating Application] The cable detector uses an advanced frequency generator to emit an alarm tone at the end of the cable. The closer the cable, the louder the tone. In noisy environments, you can use external headphones to listen to the voice alert or use the adapter to search for other metal cables. The transmitter has a DC level test function. The level can be read by the brightness of the status indicator: the brighter the light, the higher the level; the dimmer the light, the lower the level.

【Cable Locating Range】Up to 60cm deep and 1000m long. Power supply: 9V alkaline battery. 9V battery not included. Suitable for locating network cables up to 1km long.

【Application】Attach the red clamp to the cable to be tested and the black clamp to ground. This will amplify the signal and improve its effectiveness. [Volume Control] High-sensitivity volume control and headphone jack are more convenient. [Note] Do not use on live wires to avoid damaging the measuring device! This device is primarily designed to locate dead wires or low-voltage wires below 24V. The F02 cable locator is only suitable for single-core or two-core cables, not for multi-core or bundled cables.

I give an average rating because there are no instructions for use. In addition, I wonder if the tool has not already been used because it is indicated as sold without a battery and there are batteries inside. For the result, it is difficult to say if it is perfect because I do not know if I am using it correctly.
