Ideal for installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of telephone lines and other cables. It allows you to locate cables and diagnose break points. It receives the audio signal over the lines (telephone line). Emits a continuous tone or alternating double tones on the device cables. Compatible with all common tracing tone sources. Indicates the status of the telephone line (free, ringing, busy). Saves time and peace of mind: The audible signal helps quickly locate the cable and eliminate guesswork about its location. Note: DO NOT connect to a live circuit. The measuring probe can be used on live circuits, but under no circumstances should it touch a live wire.
