Overview:
A car wheel is an assembly consisting of tires and wheels.
However, due to manufacturing reasons, the mass distribution of each part of this assembly cannot be perfectly homogeneous.
When a car wheel rotates at high speed, it enters a state of dynamic imbalance, resulting in wheel wobble and steering wheel vibration while driving. Dynamic balance refers to the asymmetrical weight distribution produced by the force of the tire as it rotates, typically at higher speeds.
In a tire factory, a balancing machine is installed to test the tires and wheels. The assembly is accelerated to 300 rpm or more, and the force imbalance is measured with the tire rotation sensor.
For hook-type balancing weights, unreasonable play in the adjustment is also the reason for their loss during driving.
