Installation

Connect the red clamp to the positive terminal of the dead battery

Connect the black clamp to the negative terminal of the live battery or a grounded metal part of the vehicle

Start the vehicle with the live battery, then attempt to start the vehicle with the dead battery

Usage

Ensure both vehicles are turned off before connecting the booster cables

Connect the cables in the correct order: positive to positive, negative to negative or ground

Start the vehicle with the live battery, then start the vehicle with the dead battery

Remove the cables in the reverse order after the vehicle starts
