Description
This bundle contains 2 packs of 310ml Dryzone Anti-Mould Silicone Sealant (Clear). Dryzone Anti-Mould Silicone Sealant (Clear) is a high-performance, moisture-curing sealant formulated to create a long-lasting, hygienic barrier in high-humidity environments. It provides durable, flexible sealing in bathrooms, kitchens and other wet areas, where persistent exposure to moisture can lead to mould growth and surface staining.
This single-component silicone offers excellent adhesion to non-porous substrates, including ceramic tiles and glazed surfaces. Once applied, it cures through reaction with atmospheric moisture to form a robust waterproof joint with proven resistance to mould colonisation. The sealant retains elasticity and adhesion over time, even in fluctuating temperatures or around movement-prone fixtures.
Dryzone Anti-Mould Silicone Sealant is supplied in 310 ml cartridges, available in white or clear. A single cartridge typically covers sealing around one bath, two showers and two sinks. Skin formation occurs within 25 minutes at standard conditions, with full cure achieved after 24 hours. Application is recommended between 5 degrees C and 30 degrees C, with a working time of approximately 20 minutes.
With a tensile strength of 0.7 N/mm2 and elongation at break above 300%, the sealant accommodates joint movement while resisting shrinkage or cracking. It is CE-marked to EN 15651-3 (class XS1) and carries EMICODE EC1-PLUS certification for low emissions, offering reliable performance with minimal environmental impact.
Not suitable for use on natural stone surfaces, metals such as copper or lead, or in food preparation areas. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of previous sealants or coatings before application.
