Description
This bundle contains Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream (5L) and Stormdry Repointing Additive No. 1 (500ml). Protect walls from penetrating damp with the proven combination of Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream and Stormdry Repointing Additive No.1.
Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream is the only BBA-certified masonry waterproofer available, offering 25 years of protection from a single coat. It penetrates deeply into masonry before curing to form a breathable barrier that repels rainwater while allowing moisture vapour to escape. Applied by brush, roller or spray, it is colourless when dry, leaving your walls unchanged in appearance but transformed in performance. Independent testing has shown energy savings when applied to solid walls, due to reduced moisture retention and improved thermal resistance.
Stormdry Repointing Additive No.1 enhances the water repellency of repointing mortars. It is a concentrated waterproofing admixture that is diluted 1:9 with clean water and used as a gauging liquid for lime:sand or cement:sand mortar mixes. It significantly reduces water absorption while retaining breathability, making it ideal for masonry repair and historic restoration. Use it where weatherproofing is needed but mortar permeability must be preserved.
Together, this combination provides a complete treatment system for walls suffering from weather exposure, porous joints or degraded pointing. Apply the additive-modified repointing mortar first to seal joints, then follow with Stormdry Cream for long-lasting water protection. Suitable for refurbishment, energy saving upgrades, and flood resilience applications.
