Good belt sander, it has good power which allows you to work on different supports. It does its job well in removing stubborn paint from beams. Its weight is correct, the fact that it is battery-powered allows good handling and greater mobility. Changing the band is easy. It doesn't make any more noise than any other sander. Bring large batteries for large jobs because you can quickly become limited depending on the battery model.

Used to sand my wooden shutters, this sander is very useful. It works very well and sanding is done quickly thanks to its fairly long belt. It has a dust collection tank and you can also connect a dust vacuum cleaner to it. My shutters were sanded pretty quickly without much effort. The only negative point is that it is quite heavy. If it is used flat it is not too bothersome, but if you have to use it while carrying it it is quite heavy, especially with the battery (which is not supplied with the device).

The pack contains the belt sanders, 3 abrasive belts and a dust collector container. Assembly is easy, just attach the dust collector tray, the battery, which I already have. Start-up is intuitive, On/OFF and a stationary mode for extended sessions. You can also connect a vacuum cleaner to have a very clean space. Although the product seems heavy at first glance, the handle ensures a comfortable grip. I had no difficulty finding additional strips in DIY stores. The machine is very noisy, but the vibrations are moderate. The dust bin has a good capacity. Big plus, the power is adjustable. I used noise canceling headphones. Replacing the strips is quite simple, there is a mechanism to install and center the strip. Purchasing additional bands is not very expensive. I use the same brand 4.0Ah/18V batteries purchased previously for my garden tools. I didn't have to change the battery after 40 minutes of use. When engraving on slate, the sander is ideal for erasing "misses" and being able to start again on a blank slate in a few seconds. In summary, the product is robust, a little noisy and heavy, the sanding is fast, uniform, precise and above all effective.

I was able to sand an oak top before the finishing passes with the orbital sander and the result is super effective. Even if it is a little heavy in the hand, once placed on the wood to be worked, it is forgotten and does the work. With a sanding base of 126 mm in length and 75 mm in width, and a maximum belt speed of 250 m/min, the cordless belt sander allows you to sand large areas quickly. Its powerful brushless motor delivers maximum power over a long operating time. These motors are subject to little wear, require low maintenance and have a longer lifespan than conventional coal-fired motors. The electronic variator allows the power to be perfectly adapted to the material to be treated. The continuous operation lock button makes prolonged work easier. The sander has a large main handle and an auxiliary handle with Softgrip soft surface ensuring comfortable and pleasant handling. The integrated resting surface also allows stationary use of the tool. Thanks to the suction system and the collection tray included as standard, the workspace remains free of wood dust and the result is perfect. The belt sander can be used with large sanding belts measuring 457 x 75 mm. Three P80 grit sanding belts are included as standard to start work immediately (too bad not to have included an 80-120-150 mix). The abrasive paper can be changed and adjusted easily and without tools thanks to the locking lever and the precise belt positioning device. In conclusion, I love it.

The sander is delivered in a box with these accessories (recovery tray, 3 sanding bands and instructions), this package does not contain a battery. The sander is quite light and very easy to handle, it has a good grip. The speed dial is easily accessible and makes it easy to change while sanding. Changing the band is done quickly and without difficulty. I started with the sawdust collection bin and it is quite effective without being very efficient. On the other hand, I then put my construction vacuum cleaner on it and it was really effective, very little dust during the sanding session (very practical when you don't have a workshop). The only downside I would have to say is that it uses a lot of battery. I was at max speed and with my 2.5ah batteries I was only able to last 15 minutes maximum, but given the power it provides it's normal. In any case, it is a product that I recommend, especially if you already have other tools from the Einhell range.
