Description

General description

These are brand new classic style column radiators made from mild steel, designed to resemble traditional cast iron radiators. They are made to the highest standards using 1.3mm thick steel and are painted with a two-coat powder process for a long-lasting, durable finish. The radiator comes with an industry-leading 5-year guarantee.

Technical specifications

Material: 1.3mm Mild Steel

Finish: Anthracite Powder Coating

Certifications: BS EN442

Guarantee: 5 Years on radiator, 2 years on element

Compatibility and accessories

Wall brackets and fixings are included

Radiator Feet are available separately

Installation

The radiator is fitted with a PTC electric element, allowing for installation without altering your central heating pipework. The element can be inserted on either side of the radiator.

Usage

The PTC elements are ceramic and designed to heat at full power until reaching an operating temperature of 65ºC, at which point they reduce power intake to maintain this temperature. This makes the element both energy efficient and cost-effective compared to traditional resistance wire elements. A bidex timer is included for controlling when the radiator switches on and off, allowing you to set specific times or activate it when the temperature drops below a certain level, helping to save energy by heating rooms only when needed.
