General description

Everbuild Everflex AC50 Acoustic Sealant & Adhesive is a high-strength, permanently flexible product designed for sealing and bonding plasterboard and other kraft-lined insulation boards to various substrates. It effectively creates an acoustic barrier by sealing gaps in walls, floors, and ceilings, making it ideal for dry lining applications. The sealant is mould resistant, non-flammable, and adheres to most surfaces.

Installation

Apply the sealant/adhesive in a continuous bead along gaps or bonding surfaces

Ensure surfaces are clean and dry before application

Allow sufficient curing time based on thickness and environmental conditions

Usage

Seal gaps between plasterboard walls, floors, and ceilings to improve acoustic insulation

Bond plasterboard to plasterboard, wood, metal studding, or blockwork

Bond and seal kraft-lined insulation boards

Can be painted over once cured

Easy to clean up with water before curing
