Description

EVERBUILD STIX-ALL is a one-part, chemically curing, solvent-free sealant and adhesive that combines the best qualities of silicone and polyurethane technologies. It is designed for bonding and sealing most common building surfaces, providing high strength and durability. It adheres well to a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, glass, concrete, wood, and painted surfaces. Suitable for interior and exterior use, it can be applied to wet surfaces and is waterproof and weatherproof. It cures quickly and can be overpainted if needed.

Compatibility and Accessories

• For heavy items or large mirrors (>0.5m²), mechanical fixings are recommended

Installation

• Surfaces must be clean, dust-free, and dry; damp surfaces are acceptable if free of standing water
• Cut the tip of the cartridge or squeeze tube and apply using a standard sealant gun
• For bonding heavy items, apply adhesive around the edges (30-50mm from the edge) and in back beads at 300mm intervals; support until cured
• For lightweight bonding, apply in continuous beads and press into place immediately
• Use masking tape to ensure neat joints; tool within 5 minutes of application for a smooth finish

Usage

• As an adhesive, apply to clean, dry surfaces, and press together; provide temporary support for heavy items until cured
• For sealing joints, ensure proper joint design and use masking tape to prevent contamination; tool within 5 minutes for best finish
• To fix mirrors, apply 6mm beads of sealant in vertical strips, position the mirror, and support until cured (24-48 hours)
• Uncured material can be cleaned with white spirit; cured material requires mechanical removal

Other Information

Do not use on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticizers. Not suitable for glazing systems or aquarium manufacture. Avoid application in high UV areas where darkening may occur. Always check compatibility before overpainting. For best results, follow surface preparation and application instructions carefully.
