General description

Sika Multi-Stick is a high-performance grab adhesive based on SPUR technology (Silyl-terminated PUR). It bonds almost any material to almost anything in wet, dry, underwater, or rainy conditions. With strong initial grip and high bonding strength, it is suitable for various bonding needs in construction and DIY projects.

Fast curing

Low dirt pick-up and excellent tooling properties

Compatibility and accessories

Suitable for bonding to porous and non-porous surfaces such as glass, metals, plastics, ceramics, and stone

Compatible with glass, lead, polycarbonate, and acrylic sheets

Not suitable for polythene, polypropylene, Teflon, surfaces that bleed oils or plasticizers, or as part of a glazing system

Installation

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or contaminants

Prime dusty surfaces with diluted SikaBond PVA+ (1:4 water ratio) and allow to dry

Cut the tip of the cartridge, attach the nozzle, and cut an opening to the desired bead size

Apply with a standard sealant gun, ensuring even bead application

For heavy items, apply adhesive around the edges and in beads at 300mm intervals, then support until cured

Clean excess adhesive immediately with a cloth or white spirits

Usage

Use for bonding mirrors, cladding panels, and difficult materials like polymers, metals, and fiberglass

Suitable for high-performance, durable bonding applications

Apply adhesive to the back of lightweight items like covings, dado rails, or skirting, then press into place

For large gaps, apply a thicker bead in those areas

Always provide temporary support for heavy items until the adhesive sets

Other information

Not suitable for use in aquariums, with bitumen or asphalt, or on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticizers

Yellowing may occur in the dark, but it does not affect performance

Overpainting compatibility should be tested beforehand
