I have used a pair of Fiskars scissors before and been very impressed with the quality of their steel. Still an effective cut after three years. I recommend this brand, even if it is a bit expensive.

I have known and used this very good pruning shears for a long time to clear forest paths when riding on horseback. Well in hand, this pruner is powerful and precise, I cut branches and brambles without stopping the horse! I easily accommodate it in my fonts.
