I thought it would be bigger - I'm sceptical that it can take two adults without risk of breaking. Pretty expensive for what it is.

On the other hand the packaging is not very appropriate, little polystyrene and the wrought iron parts were against the wooden slats, therefore a little scratched, and level of finishes only one side of the slats is varnished. The result is rather nice despite some necessary retouching and a solidity to be seen over time ...

The bench is flimsy, my husband and I sat down and we thought it was going to give in. The backrest looks like metal but it is plastic.
