Specifications:

Item Type: Multimeter Material: ABS Product Model: for TY-360TRX Battery: 2 x 1.5V AA batteries (batteries not included) Steps: 1. Choose the correct equipment for the electrical barrier. If the total capacitance is less than 0.01uF, choose a 10kΩ equipment. For 1 to approximately 10uF, choose a 1kΩ equipment. Above 47uF, choose a 100Ω or 10Ω block. 2. After each test, short-circuit the capacitor with a wire, then perform the next test after discharge. 3. Electrolytic capacitors have a polarity, and the positive electrode has a higher potential than the negative electrode when in use. Since the black test lead is connected to the positive electrode of the battery in the meter, the black test lead is connected to the positive electrode of the electrolytic capacitor, and the red test lead is connected to the negative electrode of the capacitor. 4. Good capacitor performance is indicated by the pointer deflecting during detection and then gradually returning to 0 (i.e., infinite resistance). 5. The pointer deflection is related to the electrical capacitance and the electrical blocking position, and the deflection is significant when the capacitance is large. 6. Pay attention to the laws and accumulate data in practice. 7. The performance of a capacitor that loses some of its capacitance is that the detection pointer does not deviate and no discharge is required. If the test pen is changed quickly, the pointer does not deviate. 8. The performance of a capacitor that has lost some of its capacitance is that of a standard capacitor; the pointer deflection is not present. You can use experience or refer to a standard capacitor of the same capacitance to determine the maximum amplitude of the pointer oscillation.
