General description

The Hyundai HY5508 is a powerful yet compact 550w direct-drive oil-free air compressor designed for both DIY and trade applications. It is ideal for various tasks such as spray-painting, blowing away dirt and dust, nailing, inflating tyres and inflatables, or operating air tools. Weighing only 15kg, this compressor is lighter than conventional piston-type models and eliminates the risk of oil contamination in the air supply.

This arrived earlier than predicted, in good condition, and was almost plug and play to operate. It is much quiet than my previous compressor. My only issue has been trying to find where the cut off valve is located. I emailed Manomano, who replied I had to email someone else. They replied that they did not know and told me to email Hyundai. They replied by avoiding the question. So I still do not know! Other than that, the world is good.
