General description

The Liberon Anti Slip Coating Clear 1L provides a non-slip surface for smooth interior and exterior flooring, making it ideal for use on wood, stone, paving, and ceramic tiles. This clear UV coating is designed to enhance safety by preventing slips, even when surfaces are wet, without altering their appearance.

Preparation

The surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease, wax, or oil.

For stone: clean the surface thoroughly.

For softwood decking: remove dirt and dust.

For tiles: clean and eliminate all traces of grease.

For porous surfaces: ensure they are clean.

For painted surfaces: remove any flaking paint and clean.

Application

Stir well before and during application to ensure even mixing.

Apply with a brush or medium-haired roller.

Two undiluted coats are typically sufficient; a third coat may be needed for very porous surfaces.

Allow to dry for 3 hours between coats and 12 hours before use.

Usage

Not suitable for new hardwoods; allow the timber to remain untreated for 12 months to open the grain.

In high foot traffic areas, reapply one coat annually or more frequently if necessary.

To preserve leftover product, transfer it to a smaller container and seal tightly.

Clean brushes and rollers with water after use.

Always test the product on a spare surface or inconspicuous area for color and compatibility.

Important: Do not dispose of residues and washing water/solvents in sinks, toilets, sewers, or bins to avoid environmental discharge.

Libéron is a French brand of V33, the leading manufacturer of paints and stains mainly for wood. The group owns the V33, Cecil, Diamantine, Libéron and Plastor brands. It was founded in 1953 in Domblans (Jura). In the 15th century, the royal abbey of Saint-Antoine des Champs obtained a privilege exempting craftsmen from paying taxes when they set up shop on its land. The Seine also provided cabinetmakers in particular with access to their raw materials. Georges Libéron made a name for himself at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900 with his antiseptic and parasiticide polish. One of its variations was the famous Oké paste. In 1990, V33 acquired the Libéron group, which specialised in cabinetmaking products and was the French leader in its field, having invented the legendary Black Bison wax, a decorative product for all surfaces. V33 and Libéron are very committed to protecting the environment: 50% of production is solvent-free, glycol ethers have been eliminated, and great care is taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
