The Makita DKP181 LXT Brushless Planer is designed for efficient and precise planing tasks. It features Automatic Torque Drive Technology, which adjusts the speed based on load conditions for optimal performance. The tool includes a soft start feature and an electronic brake for enhanced user safety. With the option for left or right chip ejection, this planer is versatile for various applications. The base is equipped with three chamfering grooves, and the depth of cut can be easily adjusted using a knob on the front. A spring-loaded stand elevates the base to protect both the blades and the workpiece, while the easy blade setting system and on-tool hex wrench storage facilitate quick blade replacements. Please note that this is a bare unit, and no battery or charger is included.
