General description

The MAKITA DPO600Z is an 18V random orbit polisher designed for both rough and fine polishing tasks. It features a brushless motor and offers two modes of operation: Normal Mode for rough polishing with forced pad rotation, and Finishing Mode for fine polishing with free pad rotation. The polisher is equipped with a soft start feature for enhanced safety and control, and it includes a lock-on function and ergonomic soft grip to minimize fatigue during extended use. The tool can be safely rested upside down without damaging the workpiece, thanks to its elastomer bumpers. Please note that this is a bare unit and does not include a battery, charger, or case.

Fast delivery. ? The machine has a good cut with forced rotation. Also very suitable for fine sanding and finishing. 1 x 5Ah battery lasted about 1 hour for me. The machine runs quietly and is easy to guide. With forced rotation, things get a little more turbulent as far as leadership is concerned, but that's a matter of practice and is doable. The weight is of course due to the battery, which has advantages and disadvantages. All in all a great device in the usual Makita quality. Some disadvantage is the minimum backing pad size. This is the end at 100-125mm. A Flex PXE 80, for example, is then required for smaller areas. I am more than happy.
