The only positive aspect is that the device is lighter than a petrol one and is compatible with my Makita batteries. The cutting blade is much too soft, however, and is deformed by even the simplest work on the cutting edges. You can forget about wanting to cut branches to the maximum thickness specified in the data sheet. The shears jam at much smaller diameters. So in short, it's not worth the purchase price.
