This Manual Portable Hand Tire Bead Breaker is designed for a variety of tire sizes, from small ATV tires to larger 42-inch tractor and backhoe tires. It serves as a replacement for the ESCO 70160 Manual Bead Breaker, making it a versatile tool for tire repair without the need to remove the wheel from the tractor.

Technical specifications

Compatible with 38" and 42" 14-ply farm tractor tires

Suitable for backhoe tires with drop center rims

Can handle small ATV and lawnmower tires

Installation

Required tools: adjustable wrench, open-end wrench, or air wrench

Do not use an impact wrench as it may damage the bead

Place the bead breaker onto the rim with the teeth and breaker foot positioned between the rim and tire bead

Tighten the rim clamp jaw until snug using a hand wrench

Ensure the bead breaker teeth and foot are against the bead

Continue tightening with the wrench until snug, but do not overtighten

Turn the bead breaker nut clockwise to engage the foot with the bead

Continue turning clockwise until the bead is broken loose from the rim

This process may be repeated in 2 to 3 locations on each side of the wheel

Usage

Operates with an air ratchet or manual ratchet
