Yes, but when I read the recipes not easy for me I'm disabled, a lot of problems to prepare my meals so I bought it for the ease of the fries first "not to burn myself with the oil, l water etc. " I only made frozen fries once: thawed. Not as good, but I've read that you can add oil spray. I will adapt. My daughter didn't want the second one so it's for my son.
