Whether you have or want a sliding garage or interior door with folding doors or straight panels, you will find in our range of MANTION branded products the necessary items. Here, the nylon or polyamide mounts are noiseless, they can be mounted on hinges or brackets and can support doors from 30 to 300kg.
The big advantages of a mounted installation (fixed to the ceiling or wall) are that it does not require floor rails and is of equally good or even better quality. Without floor rails, cleaning is easier and the risk of tripping disappears, which also creates a sense of spaciousness in a room by avoiding any disruption in the space. To save space in your interior and make it more modern, you can install sliding doors.
Most mounts are made of steel or Delrin (a material widely used in industries for its impact and tensile strength), and are usually treated for resistance to wear, corrosion, or rust. The rollers are also generally covered with nylon or polyamide to reduce noise during gate sliding.
These products are adaptable for interiors but for aesthetic reasons, we advise you to place them in partitions or rail covers.
There are 2 types of mounts: for straight openings and folding panel openings.
- For straight openings, the mounts are securely placed on the flat surface (large surface area) or on the edge (small surface area, thickness) of the door.
- For folding door openings (which fold along the wall), the mounts are fixed on hinges to follow the door movements.
The mounts fixed on edges are fastened on brackets, which has the advantage of being more discreet than installations on flat surfaces (where you can see the fixings).
Mounts are also distinguished by their maximum support capacity, so check the weight of your doors before choosing your mount. Note that garage doors are generally heavier than interior sliding doors.
Note that when it comes to hinge mounts placed on the end panels, the indicated weight represents half the weight of the panel (as another hinge placed between the last two panels supports the other half of the last panel).
NB: When opting for multiple products, ensure the compatibility of each product you put in your cart.
For example, if you choose the mount with reference "X," you may need to place it on a flat iron rail of 50*10 mm.
