Osmo Paint Stripper is a powerful paint remover designed for both wood and metal surfaces. It effectively dissolves and removes synthetic resin varnishes, lacquers, oil coatings, and dispersion paints, making it suitable for various interior and exterior applications.

Installation

Stir well before use; do not thin.

Apply generously and evenly with a brush or trowel.

Cover immediately with a thin foil (e.g., polythene dust sheets).

Allow for sufficient reaction time, which may vary from a few minutes to several hours or possibly overnight.

Test stripping performance occasionally with a trowel.

Remove the soft dissolved layer at the optimal time.

Do not leave the stripper on substrates longer than necessary.

Rinse with water (preferably warm, approx. 40 °C) after removal.

In some cases, reapplication may be necessary.

Usage

Always test on a small area first to determine performance, reaction time, substrate compatibility, and material requirements.

Cover and tape up any surfaces not to be treated, including plastics (piping, wiring, windows, etc.) and plants.

Wear appropriate protective clothing and safety goggles during application.

In indoor areas, work with foils and ensure proper ventilation.

Not suitable for highly crosslinked lacquers, such as 2-component DD coatings or epoxy resin coatings.
