General description

Dilunett is a solvent and paraffin-free paint stripper designed to effectively remove oil and alkyd-based paints, varnishes, and wood stains. Its powerful formula can strip up to 8 coats of finish in a single application. The gel consistency ensures it does not run, making it suitable for vertical surfaces and intricate designs. Biodegradable and non-flammable, Dilunett is safe for use in poorly ventilated areas.

Compatibility and accessories

Suitable for wood (avoid weak woods like veneers), metal (except aluminum), plastic, stone, and cement

Not effective on 2 pack or baked-on paints, polyurethane paint, or varnish

Installation

Remove any loose and flaking paint and brush off surface contamination (moss, dirt, etc.)

Apply a thick coat of Dilunett over the entire surface

For woods rich in tannins, work in zones to prevent excessive darkening

Allow the product to work for the recommended time

Remove with a stiff nylon scrubbing brush or paint scraper while flushing with water, or use a pressure washer

Hot water can facilitate the cleaning process

Rinse thoroughly with fresh water

Usage

Ideal for stripping large areas and intricate designs

Do not let Dilunett work longer than necessary to avoid darkening hardwoods

Immediately treat porous surfaces with Net-trol while still wet to neutralize

Cover and protect areas not intended for stripping, including plants and shrubs

Apply between 5°C and 35°C, avoiding direct sunlight or hot surfaces

If drying occurs, mist with water to dampen

Other information

Always conduct a preliminary test to determine contact time

Wear chemical-resistant gloves, safety goggles, and protective clothing

For best results, do not allow Dilunett to dry on the surface

Treat stripped wooden surfaces with Net-Trol to restore original color
