Very difficult to wind up and it swings round quite a lot. On a still sunny day it's wonderful.

Can’t say how it withstands the weather yet (only had it a week) but love it. Looks beautiful and is easy to operate. Only thing I’m not happy about is buying the recommended weighted base separately, which then came with the same metal base as this parasol… so I’ve got two bases (one of which wasn’t required), one parasol and one set of weights. Additional expense I didn’t need to pay.
