Ronseal 10 Year Weatherproof 2-in-1 Wood Paint provides exceptional protection for your exterior wood, ensuring it remains in great condition for up to 10 years. This paint is designed for easy application without the need for a primer, allowing you to complete your project quickly. It is guaranteed not to crack, peel, or blister during this period, and it becomes weatherproof in just one hour.

Dry time: Touch dry in 1 hour, paint over in 4 hours

Installation

Prepare the surface by sanding with 120 grit sandpaper for bare wood or 240 grit for previously painted wood.

Fill any holes or cracks with wood filler and use a knot blocker to prevent knots from showing through.

Stir the paint thoroughly before application to mix the pigments.

Apply the paint in the direction of the wood grain using a synthetic brush.

Allow the first coat to dry for four hours before applying a second coat. If necessary, apply a third coat after another four hours.

Usage

This paint is suitable for all smooth sawn outdoor wood, excluding decking. After application, clean the painted surface with warm, soapy water or a diluted all-purpose cleaning solution. For repairs, lightly sand the damaged area and apply one or two coats of paint until the repair is complete.

The paint is extremely thin and a black colour in the tin. After stirring the paint which should be grey in colour and applying it to two doors, one turned out grey and one black, so I do not recommend it.

This product is excellent. I bought this paint previously to paint wooden post round the front garden. It looks great even after 2 years now. So I bought this again to paint the wooden planter. Recommend this product.

I love this paint and have had several pots from Mano Mano. This is a good company, delivery as stated. This time, my first pot was damaged in transit and paint leaked out. Mano Mano kindly sent another but the same happened again. Despite thorough packaging, the courier clearly throws these things around and the lid is dislodged. Not Mano Mano's fault but still frustrating.
