We have been advised by animal specialists at the pet shop that this is not an appropriate size for guinea pigs. I would recommend consulting with someone before buying this for rabbits to avoid similar issues. Customer service was difficult because of having to deal with more than one contact and confusion over the company name producing the hutches and not giving us return information immediately.
