Our Pole Mounted Roost Maternity Double Box is designed for bat conservation, offering an ideal solution when no suitable building or tree is available for mounting. This product features two boxes mounted back to back, allowing bats to choose between different thermal conditions throughout the year, optimizing their habitat.

  • Installation

    To securely install your Pole Mounted Bat Box, approximately 1 m of the pole should be buried below ground. It is recommended to consult a builder or structural engineer as ground conditions may vary. The pole will be dispatched separately from the bat box and bracket. The only tools required for installation are a spanner or a screwdriver (for the metal band version).

    Usage

    This bat box is ideal for ensuring maximum solar gain by placing it in an unshaded spot or positioning it on a hedgerow. It can be used to attract bats by providing them with a safe and suitable habitat.
