General description

The Ronseal One Coat Damp Seal is designed to permanently block damp stains on walls and ceilings, even on damp surfaces that are not dripping wet. It allows trapped moisture to escape without causing further damage, making it an ideal solution for treating damp areas before painting or wallpapering.

Installation

Ensure the cause of damp has been fixed before application.

Open doors and windows for ventilation and protect surfaces with dustsheets.

Remove any wallpaper with a scraper and sand off loose or flaking paint.

If mould is present, treat it with a mould killer before application.

Stir the paint thoroughly before use.

Apply with a roller or brush, ensuring to cover at least 30cm around the damp area.

Usage

Suitable for all indoor walls and ceilings.

Can be painted over with standard paint or wallpaper after 4 hours.

Clean brushes or rollers with warm, soapy water.

I USED A BRUSH TO PUT IT ON THE WALL. IT GOES ON NICE AND THICK. I AM NOW GOING TO PUT COARSE TEXTURED PAINT ON TOP, SO I BELIEVE MY DAMP SPOT HAS BEEN SORTED
