Description
The Ronseal One Coat Damp Seal permanently blocks damp stains on walls and ceilings. You can even apply it onto damp walls, allowing trapped moisture to escape without causing further damage. Once dry, you can paint or wallpaper over it.
Before you start, ensure the cause of damp has been fixed. Open doors and windows for ventilation and protect surfaces with dustsheets.
Preparation: Remove any wallpaper with a scraper and sand off loose paint. Ensure the area is clean; if mould is present, use a 3-in-1 Mould Killer.
You can paint onto damp surfaces, provided they are not dripping wet.
Using your damp seal: Stir the paint well, then apply with a roller or brush. For small damp patches, paint at least 30cm around the area.
It will be touch dry in 2 hours and ready for painting or wallpapering after 4 hours. For areas prone to mould, use our 6 Year Anti-Mould Paint.

Clean Up: Clean brushes or rollers in warm, soapy water
