Description

General description

This Ronseal One Coat Damp Seal is designed to permanently block and seal damp stains on interior walls and ceilings. It can be applied directly onto damp surfaces, including damp patches, without extensive preparation. Once dry, it provides a protective barrier that prevents damp from affecting your paint or wallpaper while allowing trapped moisture to escape, reducing the risk of further damage and mold growth.

Installation

Ensure the cause of damp has been addressed before application.

Open windows and doors for ventilation and protect surrounding areas with dust sheets.

Remove wallpaper or loose paint; clean the surface thoroughly, removing mold if present.

Stir the damp seal well before use.

Apply with a brush or roller, covering the affected area and at least 30cm around it.

Allow to dry for 1-2 hours to touch; wait 4 hours before painting or wallpapering over.

Usage

Apply directly onto damp patches or stains on interior walls and ceilings.

Paint or wallpaper can be applied after the seal has dried.

Clean brushes or rollers with white spirit after use.

I USED A BRUSH TO PUT IT ON THE WALL. IT GOES ON NICE AND THICK. I AM NOW GOING TO PUT COARSE TEXTURED PAINT ON TOP, SO I BELIEVE MY DAMP SPOT HAS BEEN SORTED
