Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Varnish in Graphite offers a durable and beautiful finish for your wooden floors. This varnish enhances the natural beauty of wood while providing long-lasting protection against everyday knocks, scuffs, and spills. It dries quickly, allowing for efficient application and minimal disruption to your home environment.

Installation

Ensure the room temperature is above 10 degrees Celsius and remove furniture.

Open doors and windows for ventilation.

For unvarnished floors, sand with 120 grit sandpaper and vacuum before wiping with white spirit.

For varnished floors, lightly sand with 120 grit sandpaper and vacuum before wiping with white spirit.

Stir the varnish well and test the colour on a small patch.

Use a 4” brush to apply, starting from the corner furthest from the door.

Apply three coats, waiting two hours between each coat and lightly sanding with 240 grit sandpaper before the third coat.

Your floor will be ready to walk on in two hours and furniture can be replaced after 24 hours.

Usage

After 72 hours, the floor can withstand daily wear and tear.

Vacuum and sweep regularly to maintain the finish.

Use a damp microfiber cloth for cleaning surface stains and scuffs.

Brushes can be cleaned easily with warm soapy water.

Other information

If scratches or damage occur, cover with three coats of varnish or use the Scratch Repair Kit for easy fixes.
