Roxil Wood Liquid 5 Litres

Roxil Wood Protection Liquid is a water-based silicone emulsion that waterproofs softwood & weathered hardwood while preserving its natural appearance. Applied by brush or spray, it penetrates deeply to reduce moisture ingress, helping to prevent issues like warping, decay & surface mould. By forming a breathable, transparent barrier, this treatment minimises water uptake & helps protect against algae, mould & rot. It's especially effective on absorbent timbers like pine, offering a service life of up to 10 years with proper maintenance. Apply two coats in temperatures between 5-30 degrees C, ensuring the second coat goes on while the first remains wet, typically within 30 minutes. A litre covers up to 5 m2, depending on timber porosity. Surfaces must be clean, dry & free of coatings before treatment. Allow 24 hours after using a cleaner such as Roxil Wood & Patio Cleaner. The clear finish preserves the timber's natural look. If staining is required, Roxil Wood Protection Cream may offer better compatibility. Avoid use if rain is expected within 24 hours of application. Treated timber may occasionally require surface cleaning to remove settled growth. Use gentle methods & non-acidic cleaners to extend performance. Tools can be cleaned with warm soapy water. Avoid contact with glass, plants & paintwork.
