Renovate and transform furniture with Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint. This paint features a classic, smooth touch and a flat matt finish, bringing new life to tired, worn-out objects. Available in a wonderful choice of shades, it can be finished with Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax (available in Clear or Dark) or Furniture Lacquer for added protection.

Compatibility and accessories

Can be used directly on wood (bare or painted), brick, stone, plaster, or any suitably primed rigid surface (metal, plastic, etc.)

Recommended accessories: Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax (Clear or Dark) and Rust-Oleum Furniture Lacquer

Usage

Apply directly to surfaces without the need for priming or sanding (ensure surfaces are smooth, dry, and free from contaminants)

Create a distressed look by applying two coats in contrasting colours and sanding/scouring when dry

Other information

Clear Wax: A clear, colourless wax polish that protects the finish and provides a soft, velvety sheen

Dark Wax: A dark, antiquing wax that gives a distressed, aged finish

Lacquer: A hard-wearing protective lacquer that enhances and seals paint work, protecting it from knocks and scratches

Carefully applied to a wooden door and covered with the recommended Rust Oleum wax finish. Frankly, it looks like a coat of emulsion. This was an expensive disappointment.
