The wood is not the colour in the pic it’s a much lighter wood. They were tricky to put together due to the screw alignment and one of the stools the fabric was lifting slightly. However the shape was exactly the same as my dining chairs so I kept them and stained the legs the desired colour

Lovely stools, goes with my decor, however, they were such a pain to put together, nearly gave up and sent it back but persevered. The screws and bolts don’t line up properly and the instructions could of been clearer.
